What is the difference between a Nadex Demo account vs Nadex Live account?  This is a question has been asked a lot lately so I did a video showing the difference between the two.  Of course, the biggest difference right now is the charts.  The Nadex Live account, using a web browser, using a different style of charting.  The Nadex Demo account uses the new charting style that resembles the iPad application.

Nadex Demo Account vs Nadex Live Account

Traders are often skeptical over demo accounts because they give the perfect fill, usually do not have slippage and may or may not include the cost of the trade (like commissions or exchange fees).  However, it is also dependent on the order types a trader uses.  For example, is the trader using market or limit orders?  Market orders put traders at risk of suffering from slippage (the difference between where you place the order and where it is filled).  Limit orders provide a better environment because price cannot be more than the limit order to be filled.  Traders using the demo account can default the order type to Limit orders in their settings.

In this video, Gail Mercer, founder of TradersHelpDesk, shows both the Nadex Demo Account vs Nadex Live Account for trading binary options. As you can see in the video, the biggest difference is the charts.
